After obtaining a degree in Notarial Law, I spent the first years of my career working as a deputy civil-law notary in the Netherlands. From 2007 to 2020 I lived and worked in Cambridge in the UK and over there ran my own legal advice practice, advising both English and international clients on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and estate planning. During that time, I built a network of accountants, financial advisers and other legal professionals; people who I still work with today.
Since returning to the Netherlands, I have been working in the family and inheritance law practice. Inspired by regular questions involving the UK and England in particular, I provide both private and corporate clients with legal advice and assistance on questions concerning Dutch-English family and inheritance law.
